Margaretha (Greetje) Homveld and Friedje Leenderts* of Arnhem, Gelderland, were two elderly ladies who, in 1942, helped Marianne Rozendaal and her brother, Louis, find hiding places. The ladies were themselves too old to take on the burden of caring for other people, but they put Marianne in contact with the Roostee* family and Louis in contact with the Monsmas, thereby helping save their lives.
On May 11, 1980, Yad Vashem recognized Margaretha Catharina Maria Homveld as Righteous Among the Nations.
