Robert Norden found refuge with them for three months and his mother, Aaltje, for a year and a half, until the end of the war. Henk Roet also hid in their home. On June 9, 1983, Yad Vashem recognized Antony Deesker and his wife, Aleida Deesker-Rökker, as Righteous Among the Nations. |
